30 Days of Block 1: What Stuck?
Today is day 30 of 120, which means the first block of my 120-Day Finish 2026 comes to an end. I started on September 3, crossed off a Post-it on the wall every morning and set myself three challenges: plank, wall sit and minimalism. Time for an honest look back.
Plank
The goal on my bucket list was a one-minute plank. By now I'm at almost three minutes. So I could tick that one off long ago, and now I really don't want to stop. My new goal: five minutes, and before the end of this year. So the plank challenge continues!
Wall Sit
To be honest, I didn't track my wall sits properly. I'll catch up on that so I know where I really stand. And I'm sticking with this challenge too!
Minimalism
At some point I dropped the minimalism challenge. Three challenges at once were more than I could fit into my everyday life, so I focused on the ones that mattered more to me right now.
Winter Arc
Alongside the block, my Winter Arc has been running since September 1. Everything went really well until my business trip to Vienna. There I had to pause the challenges, and after that I got sick on top of it. At home the routine works, but on the road it's much harder for me. I don't see that as a setback, but as the most important lesson from this block.
What I'm Taking With Me
Consistency doesn't mean nothing ever gets missed. It means getting back on track after a break. And sometimes it also means consciously letting go of a challenge instead of clinging to everything at once.
What's Next
Tomorrow Block 2 starts and October gets a completely new theme. More on that in the next post.
Thirty Post-its are crossed off. Not every day was perfect, but every day counts.
