Day 30 of 1000: What's left after the first month?

Yesterday was day 30. Three percent of the 1000 days are done, 970 still lie ahead. Time for an honest look back.

What worked in the first 30 days

I stuck with the gym and with running. My daily vlog challenge on TikTok is still going, and on Threads I write down every day what went well and what didn't. The 120 days to 2027 have also started, and that's been going well so far. I tried to give my best over the last 30 days, even though a few setbacks came up here and there.

The business trip to Vienna

On the business trip to Vienna I noticed how hard it is to keep everything up when I'm not at home. I had to pause the plank and wall-sit challenge because of it. I don't see that as a real setback, more as something to learn from. Pausing isn't the same as giving up: it just didn't work while traveling, and that's exactly what I'm taking with me for next time.

Trying more things

Over the last few days I've dared to try more things than before. I've also planned more for the weeks and months ahead. So there's more coming.

The bucket list

One item is already checked off, and two new ones have been added.

My takeaway after 30 days

Overall, it's going well. There were setbacks, there was a pause, and there were things I dared to try. That's exactly what the 1000 days are about: staying consistent, even when it doesn't go perfectly.

It's not a sprint, it's a marathon.
